We have some large events posted in the magazine that are for profit, and we appreciate that they do spend money to help support the publication. Well over 95% of the listings are for smaller events that help out church missions, pet rescues, cancer research and even scholarships. We try to list what charity each one supports. Over the 15 years of doing this, millions and millions of dollars have been collected and donated to a charity from show promoters. Please do yourself a favor and ask where the money is going the next time you go to one of these smaller events.

Arellano would meet other lowrider owners on cruise nights, making lasting friends. She got involved in one of the first women’s car clubs in San Diego, the Specials. So when cruising was banned, she felt her community was being erased. Cruise Nights at Willow Creek Community Church starts on May 27 and continues every fourth Monday of the month until September 23 hosted by the CARS Ministry of Willow Creek Church. This is a free event open to vintage, classic, custom, muscle and antique cars and trucks. Food and music will be provided.

Please pay close attention to the "Red Shirt" Parking Volunteers. They will direct you to the show field parking areas. Westmont Cruisn' Nights starts June 6 and continues weekly through August from 5pm - 9pm in downtown Westmont. Three blocks of downtown Westmont closed off and dedicated to classic car parking. Enjoy live music in a family atmosphere.
St. Charles Rd and Main St. Downtown Lombard celebrates 25 years of the family-friendly fun at the weekly Saturday Cruise Nights and Summer Concert Series from June 15 through August 24. Cruise Nights on the River takes place from 5pm - 8pm on Wednesday,June 9 and Wednesday, August 7 at Riverfront Park. The event is hosted by the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department.
